Experience kimono in Japan's largest special scenic spot, Ritsurin Park in Takamatsu City
Ritsurin Park in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture, is the largest garden designated as a cultural asset in Japan.
This Japanese garden was awarded the highest rating of three stars in the French travel guidebook Michelin-Green Guide-Japon, meaning ‘worth the bother of a trip’.
If you plan to come to Shikoku Island, this is a not-to-be-missed destination.
About half of the gardens designated as ‘special places of scenic beauty’, or ‘national treasures of gardens’, are located in Kyoto. And most of them pursue views from a single location.
On the other hand, Ritsurin Park is a Japanese garden built on a vast site where visitors can stroll around the pond and enjoy beautiful views from various locations.
If you come to this special place, we highly recommend that you come dressed in kimono and take a walk in the Japanese garden.
We have several kimono designs available. Let's choose the kimono that suits you best together.
Dressing takes approximately 30 minutes.
The dresser will assist you in taking photos near the dressing area.
Afterwards, in about 2 hours, enjoy a walk through the Japanese gardens to your heart's content in your kimono and take your own photos at various locations.
If you like, you can have a cup of green tea(Matcha) in this park, or take a ride on a Japanese boat for an extra fee, and have your photo taken with it.
In addition, professional photographers can also be provided.
Whether you are travelling alone, with family, or with special someone, this will be a perfect memento of your visit to Japan.

Reviews
Eri, the photographer, did an amazing job during the photo session. She is very kind and easy to speak with. Her direction is also very clear and made for some great shots. During our walk through the garden, she provided some tidbits of interesting background info of the area. It was overall a wonderful experience and made my trip to Takamatsu very memorable.
